Well this one welcomes all to join from any place in the world to any skill level the tuner may have. So with the brief introduction out the way, I will break down the rules and regulations for this challenge.

    RULES AND REGULATIONS (NEW NEWS)
Updated 12/29/2012 11:44 PM Post a reply Quote this post View DjWess's info
HERE ARE THE NEW ADDITION TO THE CURRENT RULES AND REGULATIONS:
    - The host cannot win their own challenge anymore. This is to prevent any unfair advantages in future tuning challenges
    - You can setup lobbies dedicated to the current tuning challenge for others to join for a live feel. You can also host races if you want, however the fastest lap from the race will still count.
    - You can do one or the other (THIS IS A REQUIREMENT TO PREVENT PHONY TIMES)
    Option 1.)
If you have a YouTube account, upload your replay to your YouTube account for all to see. Here's a YouTube video explaining how you can do it via capture card thanks to Draghon. Thanks man!
    Draghon wrote:
but it wont upload to youtube, I've tried

I hope to get this "Blackmagic Intensity Pro" card for the computer to record what is done...

alternately there are external ones but IF you want to record through the HDMI, beware, it WONT be true HDMI cause it has to go through a converter first

    http://youtu.be/-r4BkAzkCV8

    Option 2.)
E-mail Your replay to others in which I will give details to

IF YOU ARE SENDING THE REPLAY:
1.) Save your replay as you normally do
2.) Go under replays in your GT Home screen
3.) Select the replay you want to send to others
4.) Export to your Save Data. It'll be under Save data PS3
5.) Find your Replay you want to send to others and copy it to a flash drive
6.) Upload to your computer and put it under a folder with your PSN/GTVault name on it
7.) E-mail to the people you want to e-mail it to

    IF ON THE RECEIVING END:
1.) Check your E-mail for the save and save that replay/folder to the desktop
2.) Plug in your flash drive and move that folder to your flash
3.) Go under your Save Data (PS3) and find your flash drive's name
4.) Go under your flash drive and find the replay
5.) Copy the replay to YOUR Save Data (PS3)
6.) Boot up GT5, go to your GT5 Home screen and go under replay
7.) Go up 2 ticks and should show Import Replays
8.) Select which replay you want to upload
    9.) Watch and enjoy!

Most importantly, have fun with this challenge. This is how I learned to tune some the cars in the game from as well as meeting others on GTVault of GTPlanet!

If we can set times in a lobby this means we can slipstream and set slipstream strength to "strong" which could be worth anywhere up to a second. This will be interesting...

Despite the incredibly convenient timing of the meeting, I have no internet on my PS3 until about the 20th so I'll have to be running solo in practice mode until then.
Also for those who don't know their own GMT time my favourite time converter allows you to select a day, time and the time zone based on a place.

Just run the meeting on the 11th as planned, and then we can schedule an additional one later in the month that myself or other latecomers may be able to attend.
I am currently unsure when I shall be heading home with internet, so organising/delaying a meeting to accommodate me would be unwise.
Thank you for considering me though.
