This is a replica tune for the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Le Mans with the supercharged V600 engine upgrade produced by Works Service. The swan song for the old V8 and the ultimate British heavyweight hot rod. Incredibly rare with only 40 Le Mans cars built, this is a replica of the the rarest of the rare, being one of only 4 cars outfitted with the big engine and 6-speed gearbox. Price tag when new? £233,000.
This is actually an even more upgraded version than the real life car, weighing about 20kg less (1970kg), couple more horses (602 hp) and a ridiculous 695ft-lb of torque available at 4000 revs!
Not many tunes available for the old Vantage available online and it's pretty obvious why. This is a seriously heavy car and will never be a grip monster. It shows off your "understeer forearm" like no other car (except maybe the Leno Tank Car) but isn't too bad. Plus, while it may be tricky to steer through the corners, you can simply devour the competition on the straights.
I couldn't manage the factory 0-60 times because it simply roasts the tires in the first 4 gears, so best I could manage was 4.6 for 0-60, 0-100 in 8.9, 1/4 mile in 12.6. Top speed was 196mph with the standard gearbox.
There is no 203 on the top speed, so explain the gears please
