    Notes
A Carbon Drive Shaft is equipped to this car. This is more of a race feel car but without the adjustable transmission. Kept it stock to prevent wheel spin at low gears vs. having that when the engine is tuned.
It tops out around 195 without drafting anyone. This car was tested in an online lobby at the ring just cruising the car at random times and weather.
It handles very well after the added 62kg to the car and positioning it to 50 to make the car 50/50 when it comes to transferring the weight.

Please test this car before judging.

Please try the car before knocking it and leave any feedback about the car.
Oh yea be on the lookout for a GTVault tuner challenge sometime this week.
Have fun while you race others. If you don't why are you racing in the first place?

I'm not a race car driver, but I''ll give it a go this week. I'm soooo glad money is much easier to get in GT5 so I can test setups more.

(EDIT 26/01/2012) If there was to be more tuner challenges I don't think I could put my best into them as I get so worked up in tuning my own cars. Been trying to find the best setup for my Supra since December and only now I think I found something that suits it. But I would put in the time and effort into each challenge from here on out due to money issues being solved.

    Review of Setup

Just like to say first that I tested your setup at the Nurburgring to avoid any track issues with the setup.

The first thing I noticed in this setup for me was that it's way too twitchy. It especially becomes an issue when you reach the last high speed corners on the ring, cause if your just slightly too aggressive you get shot right off the track. I think it's just your steering sensitivity set much too high. At the moment a novice driver probably would find it much to sensitive to drive.

After driving it awhile some more, for some reason I felt it just was a bit disconnected. I mean your recommendations with the transmission is fine and the LSD settings was good also but...when your driving, it doesn't feel like a true race car (well in a game anyways since I've never driven one in real life...my cousin thinks my S12 is but I'm rambling here).
It feels as though the tyres are doing all the work and the chassis and suspension are just there as backup. What I'm trying to say is there isn't enough feedback from the road to driver when driving.

So, is it a race car like setup? No
Can it be? Yes with more tuning

Thanks Brette, I knew I could count on you ever since GT4. I will go back and work on the suspension more. For some reason 7 sensitivity works for me. But I'll go back and work on it. BTW how's the Supra?

Just posted up the current settings for the car on the site. It's setup for sports hard tyres, but drives great with racing slicks on. Well that's what I think anyways since I'm the only one who drives it Big Grin
