**Since the AI pit bug has been fixed it has become impossible to use this car to win the LeMans 24 hours, however that doesn't stop it from being a great car.
This is the ongoing setup for the R8 LMS I intend to use to win the LeMans 24 hours in the endurance series. You'd think a 1300kg car with 500hp would get thrashed by the LMP's...
So far the setup is a work in progress, with a bit too much rear tyre wear and over steer at high speed, but not enough front wear as the tyres are going cold on me half way through a stint.
At this point it will do 11 laps to a set of tyres, but I'm trying to work on that.
Potential ideas to improve the car:
Springs -1.0/-0.25
-10 top speed gears
shorten 5th gear - gets stuck at 255km/h
Thanks guys!

The car is good for 6:27.574 at the Nordschliefe (1 warm up, 1 hot lap no practice)
All units metric, so Weight values are kg, and speed in km/h.
Since the initial post I have made the car more stable at speed, made it about a second faster at LeMans and taken it to the nord, where it is absolutely fantastic fun.
Thanks mate, give me a few weeks and hopefully it'll be even better!
Also thank you to Matinhos and yourself (thomas2012) for the votes, very much appreciated.
I'll be back with updates soon!

I'm glad you are happy with it, but to do what I want it to I need to improve it!
Can't wait until I get some time to do setup work, been studying for exams and when I've actually had time to get on been doing seasonal events for quick cash or knocking over special events I haven't beaten yet, I will beat the S.Vettel challenge on my DS3 if it takes me a week non stop! (2 bronze 1 gold, about 4.5 seconds off gold on both bronze)
However I look forward to developing more setups for GT5 and racing you guys online sometime.
I've been just busy of late and have not been on GtVault or GT5 in a long while, so a quick catch up on thank you for votes!
I apologise for the immense lateness, however thanks to zzzipper, jmperera and Ironmanrc for their votes on this setup, making it I think my 2nd most popular setup to date.
I have been using toe at 0.10/0.30 if no tire wear for stability. 0.05/0.15 if tire wear is in play.
A guy told me if you get snap steer when you break loose then you need to up the front toe,
so I did and it fixed the problem in my LMP cars...

interesting idea Draghon, I'll have a look at that next time I have problems, thanks for your input.
Sorry to not respond in a long time, I didn't realise I wasn't logged in lol, so didn't get any notifications.
Thanks to homunculo for the vote way back in June.
