SUPER! You added the "Tranny Trick" in "Transmission" though the "No" doesn't show up by default in the submitted completion but no real need to fix it...
I let you know
that I added Tranny Trick about a week ago. Maybe the e-mail notification didn't get to you.
The blank phenomenon exists on setups entered prior to me adding "Tranny Trick" at your request. That field is null for those setups, and I didn't want to make any assumptions / read the Notes text and manually change setups that were already in the database. People tend to get bent out of shape when data they entered "magically" changes. I also felt it was a bit of an edge case, not worthy of creating a mass notification e-mail that would likely get ignored anyway.
The short story on alignment is: what you see is as designed. I'm surprised you didn't infer that from the relationships between what is aligned further left vs. further right.
The long story: (since your OCD'ness will appreciate that I already thought about these things)
Down Force is not aligned
Downforce is, in 90% of cases, subordinate to the existence of a Wing being installed, and is intentionally placed a few pixels to the right of GT Auto - Wing to signify that relationship. Race cars are an exception, but they're exactly that.
Tranny and Tranny Trick are not aligned
Gear settings are subordinate to the existence of a Fully Customizable transmission, and so are aligned a few pixels to the right for the same reasons as the Downforce example above. Actually, now that I think of it, "Tranny Trick" should also be at the same level as the individual gears, as it too is reliant upon a Fully Customizable transmission.
half of the Drive-train is out of whack
Again, all "out of whack" fields are subordinate to the first preceding item that is aligned further left.
Suspension Kit looks good where it is and doesn't need to be moved (Though it could be aligned) but the type is screwed
Again, alignment is by design. I do see a curly brace closing Dampers (Compression}
, so I'll fix that. I've no idea what you mean by "but the type is screwed
and finally Brake Balance Controller is off if you use suspension to line it up but Brakes gets thrown off but are align within it's own box
Again, by design. Brake Balance Controller must be on a car in order for the Brake Balance to be adjusted. This is mainly a holdover from GT4, as I have yet to encounter a car in GT5 that does not have one. I could've made the assumption that every car would have a Brake Balance Controller installed by default. However, I have seen with every game that PD will throw some surprises / bugs at you when you least expect it.
Again, nothing NEEDS to be fixed, I am lucky you even made the section to fast....
Thanks... now how about posting some setups?
Regarding browsers and Quick Car Search: I was asking comcats about which browser he was using, because he stated there were a number of errors listed at the top after hitting Enter. That specific thing doesn't happen for me in any browser, just the "No Cars Found" issue, which is on the list of things to be fixed.
