This is my setup for the Hong Kong leg of Brette's two stage Mini Cooper challenge:

I ran the reverse leg of the challenge, and th gears above are obtained using the MaskusXO tranny trick.
With Oil change and car wash, this rings up 219hp and 274Nm of torque. After I put the extra degree of negative front toe, the car came alove, attacking the corners, changing direction with ease, in general a brilliant car. However, youy can't afford to smach the curbs, but only clipping the curbs at full throtte for best results.
I was very happy with this car, but the automatic transmition was an absolute shocker, and I found the best results came from using a manual gearbox, and NEVER using 2nd gear, only ever dropping to 3rd gear. In addition, super-fast down shifts result in shorter stopping distances by using the transmition to lower some of the speed as well as brakes.

By the end of the challenge, I had covered 1,200 Km ( > 700 miles), and this may in fact be part of the reason for the car's performance, however I believe a worn chassis with more miles covered, will have better turn in than a new one, and at Hong Kong where a softer suspension is needed, this may also have helped.

Motorland (reverse)

At motorland reverse (stage 1) for Brette's cooper challenge I was able to drive a 0'42.570.
It was the same car, with the same parts applied, however, the settings were mostly completely different:
Suspension:
Spring rates 7.6/6.8
Ride Height 105/110
DAMP BOUND 6/7
damp rebound 5/8
camber angle 2.5/1.0
Toe angle ......-1/2
Stabilizers ......5/6

Brake Balence: 3/5
Downforce: 30/10
LSD - 60/60/60
AIDS - 0/0/0

GEARS:
This is just using auto set ratios, and fiddling with the indivdual gears.
auto set 5:
1st - 3.841
2nd - 2.778
3rd - 1.829
4th - 1.484 (I think its stock)
5th - 1.229 (same)
6th - 1.062 (same)
final - 3.940

Weight Balence 0 @ -50

The differnce with this setup and the Hong Kong setup, is that this is based for a racetrack rather than a street circuit, so its lower and stiffer, but crucially I also use a manual gearbox, set 3rd to go as low as it would go in the revs, and pinned the car in 3rd gear for slowest speeds, such that the car was always in gear 3 or above. Manual was not an option as the gears required to be shifted to frequently, and I was unable to keep up, however at Hong Kong the gears were wider, and I was able to use the manual gearbox.
In relation to the competition, I was better off with this tune compared to Hong Kong, however the Hong Kong tune is better at hong kong, and the motorland tune is better at motorland, obvious you'd think but sometimes this doesn't happen.
