Notes |
This is one of several tunes I have for the car ( I own four of them now.. )
N1's - This car has been run on ALL tire sets. just not mismatched combinations yet.. So anything can be used.. The car has a different 'STRIDE' that most because of several factors..so be aware of this when braking cornering, and accelerating. The grip can also be effected by changing the transmission.. depending on the HP output and rate of acceleration..
Transmission - is set at default because it actually has the best acceleration as far as being well rounded s concerned. Top Speed is 240.8 MPH.. You can however change up gear ratios, I recommend making 1-3 longer because the gears will encompass the peak HP range better but be aware that this is not the peak range for torque.. However it can give you better acceleration and speed gains at lower gear ranges on some tracks.. This will effect the handling of the car however.. Tranny Tricking the car could help in this respect as well but will make the car slightly slower overall..The car does rely on HP and TQ drop-off, and shift ranges..allows for weight to move front to back in the car which effects the mechanical reactions of the suspension.. not in relation to speed but force.. ( Hope you get anyway..LOL )
LSD - numbers will allow for the 'track' of the car when burning through the turns.. you have to get to know the car and when and how it will submit..Decel number could be brought down to setting that will aid with weight transfer..when braking ( which makes the front slide and sometimes wobble - car should not be pushed that hard technically ) this one works with my driving style.. but could be faster depending on yours..
Car settings allow for a great ride and will render good handling even up to top speed..I get great times.. I have been to MANY tracks in this car.. I brought the car to a break-in state by running it constantly at Nurburgring to the point past the needed Rigidity Refresher.. I have never performed it on this car with about 630 miles.. and do not plan to. The numbers are a bit softer than my other setups for this car but do reflect the balance in those as well.. Also very stable in B-spec..
You do have to watch for un-articulated jumps, and being airborne.. The car has a tendency to nose up when you become airborne.. or jumping. lightly brake to depress the springs past the point the tires leave the road in front will minimize the effect but this depends because depending on where you are at in the gear.. ( odd but true.. ) Some jumps and getting airborne can actually not be as bad..so it just depends.. Something I have yet to work out of the tune ( don't think I can ) except with some of the harder tuned suspensions I have for the car..
Anyway would love some feedback on the cars performance and suggestions..
