Hey 0-400mtoptuner16,

let see what you can improve on ....

Camber - you can reduce this to 0.0 on front and back. Camber is only useful when turning. And since drag races don't need to turn you can remove Camber.

Shocks - looks okay, but I can't tell for sure unless I test it myself.

Downforce - this will improve performance heaps. Reduce to minimum. You wont need as much as you are using for drag. It just slows your car down.

ASM - reduce to 0. If you do nothing else, reduce ASM.

Try those as a start to see if your times are reduced. I can't remember my own drag times in the Calsonic.

the toe is the lowest and actually, when i lower the asm, there is no improvement.and i'll try the downforce.the ride height is the best thing to do if you raise it,wat do u drive?mt or at and how do u start?I usually rev the calsonic at 6000rpm's and start in 2nd gear,u actually get a boost, try it if u haven't already
thanks for the tips

Sorry,

not toe, I meant Camber.
Yes, and reduce Ride height to minimum too.

Okay,
I haven't tried ride height changes much, as I don't play drag races much.
You'd probably have more experience there than I.

thanks, asm lowered, improved a lil bit, camber(can't believe i forgot about this, maybe it's cause i use this car alot)but improved a lil bit also, and the downforce i lowered and made it slower, tried it like 9 times and still went slower, raised it and went back to normal.(guess we both learned something new)so my new record is 9 dot 766 at 157 dot 4 mph,i still need to update the 0-1000 and speed, and 0-60 and 0-100 but i'll do that later thanks fumes for reminding me about camber and the tip on asm

Sweet.

Guess I was wrong about Downforce. Come to think about it, some downforce is probably good. That's why I was thinking the minimum settings would have been enough, but I guess it wasn't.
Actually, if you can, try reducing it slowly from what you have. A few points at a time to see if it improves your times. My initial suggestion to reduce to minimum might have been too drastic.

for a 0-400m drag there is an optimum downforce setting, not too much and not too little.

Apart from those suggestions, drag is all about gear ratios. Only your own trial and error tests will be able to help find an optimal gear ratio for 0-400m drags. Good luck with the gear ratios.

wow this car kicks ass, nice and controllable drift built in lol.anyways i did something cool, the 2 jumps in SC,on the 2nd i made my car do a 360% spin in the air and landed perfect and completed the race in 1st.try that?also let me no if there is to much drift?

That's what ASM at 0 will do to the car, give you controllable drifts (if the rest is setup properly).

With ASM on the power to the wheels is retarded and drifting will almost be non existent or uncontrollable.

As you can see I like pushing "No ASM".

I hope you saved that replay with your 360deg jump. That would be something to see.

I must apologise now, if I don't get a chance to test your setup for the road version. I get numerous requests each day to do so, and finding the time is getting more and more difficult.
