Nice car, no serious minors. I especially like it at high speeds, it's like the car is driving on rails. Engine tune-ups and horsepower? Sorry, i can't remember it... But i think i bought them all ( 900+ HP? ).

I would the HP is somewhere around 825, because my list thing I got off of gamefaqs, says 793 and that's without an oil change. Overall not a bad car though.

I don't know, Chevy. I'm almost positive it was around 900HP. Your probably right, but i'll check out as soon as i get to play GT3 again.

You like the setup on the car, or the car stock? If you like the setup, thanks Chevy Smile! I haven't had a compliment on one of my setups for a while. If you're talking about the car when it's stock, i share your opinion with you. The Benz isn't a bad racing car, although it's definately not one of the best. Greets,

Dave.

I haven't tried your setup . . . sorry, Venom. I was just telling you about how much power the car has. I haven't had a comment on a setup in I couldn't even tell you how long. I haven't even had someone say what I've said on yours. Oh well, no big deal really. The Benz isn't too bad, it's not up there with the best, but it isn't bad. Pretty consistent and predictable. The tail end likes to come out some though from what I have driven it. But I've really only driven the Benz stock and without any power upgrades. I just got a broadband connection today and I'm going to be messing around with it for I don't know how long . . . so freakin' fast. I'll try to get around and try your setup on the car.

That's ok, i just didn't know if you were talking about my setup or the car itself. I don't get many ( positive. ) comments on my setups as well, but you must see it from the bright side, no ones tells you they hate your setups. Maybe that helps Smile. Yes, just like you said, the rear likes to slide around from time to time. That is something i don't really like about it, but it does make races a bit more challenging, though. I drove this car stock only once and it wasn't really a match, compared to most others. But i like it alot better now, because of the tune ups and the setup. This definately helps the handling and lap times a lot. I'm looking forward to see your comment about it, happy racing Chevy!

Oh, before i forget, i got to play GT3 yesterday ( i'm trying to improve my personal record on my fave track, Deep Forest. ) and i checked out the Benz' hp: 833. You were pretty close Wink.

Well, I just got done trying it out, and in stock form, the car is very manageable and runs well. The back end doesn't really ever become a big issue. With the Stage 3 tune up, the back end is much more lively and still controllable with good throttle control. Definitely don't really want to go over rumble strips though, I had the back end furiously come out a couple times around Laguna Seca. Overall though, not bad. Don't get down because no one leaves comments, keep on tuning (It's been awhile . . . a long while at that . . . since I've even had a comment on a setup, good or bad or just conversation for that matter). We need more good tuners, who don't tune for top speed or quarter mile runs (what's the fun in that anyways?), but instead for making the car handle.

Yes, the back end ( when equipped with tune ups. ) does like to slide around sometimes, but i tried to find a balance between speed and handling. And as the fishtailing isn't a serious issue, i leave it as it is now. I didn't plan to stop tuning cause no one tells me what they think about it. But i'm ( probably. ) not going to post as many setups as i do now, i think i'll slow it down a bit. And i don't think anybody is going to miss me anyway, as i'm not very good at tuning. I agree, we need more tuners who tune cars for handling, accelerating and top speed aren't really neccesary.

Yep, I can guarantee you the majority of the setups here are for Test Course, which is kinda sad. That seems like to me that those people would enjoy a NASCAR game more than a GT one. Don't feel too bad man, I'm sure some people out there use your setups and just don't say anything . . . I was using setups from GTVault forever before I actually joined and started leaving comments. Plus now that I do know how to tune a car I don't really have to rely on another person to setup a car; and if I do use someone else's setup, I'll usually take the setup and tune it to my liking. So the setup I finally use and the one I began with could look totally different.

Here is how I would look at it though, if the setup you make for a car works for you, use it. That's the way I look at things even though I haven't gotten any kind of comments on my setups.

Yes, people who tune cars for top speed only, would really fit better in NASCAR ( or draster games? ) games. I don't really see the point of playing GT3 when you can only think of getting the car to it's max speed. I did the same thing to, i also used a couple of setups untill i started making my own and joined. So, i do believe there are some people who use mine and your's ( hopefully! They're useless on GTVault if they don't. ). But it would simply be helpfull for us if they posted comments about how they think about them. So we know how to improve them. Cause, i normally set cars up, so most people can use them effective. I mostly don't set them up to fit my driving style, or another particulair one, my goal is a kind of 'general' driving style. Oh, before i forget, i'd like to thank you for your feedback so far. I apreciate it Smile.

It's not a problem, I know how it nice it is to get even just alittle feedback on a setup . . . anything is nice to get. I could tell you that I seriously used setups for a least a good year and a half before I joined.

There were already like 1500 setups and about 2800 members when i joined.... But i didn't join because i liked the site, i joined so i could post my own setups ( started tuning a couple of days before i became a member. ). And now, after about 38 setups, i'm in the top10! All those people who never comment, or post setups, are kind of irritating me. Just like tuning cars for top speed or acceleration, what's the point? A wild quess, i think there are less than 100 members, that are actually doing something around here.

Yeah I would say that that is probably about right . . . all they are good for it taking up space. Damn those spacetakeruppers . . . lol . . . (alittle sarcasm there). I also wouldn't mind the people tuning just for top speed and the 0-400 if they also tuned for handling, but most of the time they don't so it's pointless.
