Is see this setup as a great succes: This was is one of the few setups, on wich i tried to find the perfect balance between handling and speed. And it works, it works fantastic! I'm pretty proud on this one. I hope you all enjoy it,

Dave.

Wow! I can't believe you pulled the impossible off! This big boat of a rear end car has potential. There is one thing though, you should try the car with T8's. I was taking the slalom on that huge course at over 100 mph! I've tried a whole bunch of your setups and they are fantastic. You must really know cars!

ViperGTR21, i'm very glad you like my setup and i also appreciate you've tried many others of mine!

Yes, T8 tires allow you to have more grip, but they wear out quicker. T8 tires are the best choice, but only when you enter a race without tire wear, and that's the reason i always put T4 tires under my cars ( i think most GT3 owners enter races with tire wear ), they still grip fine and tires won't wear out that fast.

See, I dont use my Viper for alot of races, its just a really fun car to drive! I'll take it out to the complex string and drive it for ever! I just love the sound of this car. Like a panther, sleek and black ready to pounce as soon as you jump on the gas. Thx for doing such great jobs on all your setups.

Oh, i see. I actually kind of do the same; I lately only try to break my records, so i also don't need to worry about tire wear.... But you got the point Wink !

And i like to thank you again for giving me such compliments! I really appreciate that!

Hey Venom,
I need yor help on a setup, Im trying to convert an Escort rally car into a road going beast.
Im at the point where Ive got the accelraton and speed I want, but the handling is still a little slow. It'll come on to late, so its just the tight beginning curves that are getting. Oh, and one more thing, I will be using this on tire wear races.

It's a honour for me you're asking for my help, but i'm afraid i can't be very helpfull; I haven't been tuning cars for a quite long time now. But i'll do my best Smile. Maybe looking at my Impreza WRC's setup can help you out... If not, try to harden your springs, it should make the Escort respond faster. You must also turn ASM of, this helps you big time! I hope this helps you,

Dave.

Venom,
Thx for your help,
I took a look at your Subaru and found it quite helpful. I hardened the springs, put more downforce on the front and rear, and lowered it way down. Oh, and the ASM is all the way off. Mine is in the NEW SETUPS list and in the Ford Escort Rally Car list. I think that you might be suprised if you try this amazing setup out.

I'm glad i've helped you out Smile! And i'm sure it's fantastic, but i'm afraid i can't drive it; My GT3 is at my friends' place, he's borrowing it. But i'm sure it's a setup to recommand!

this a general setup, for front engine 4wd cars, i usually set the spring rate lower in front, with some camber as well (2.0-3.0) and litle camber in the rear (1.0 more or less).

raise the bound and rebound, and make sure the rebound is about 2 clicks higer then the bound, lower the ride height all the way and.camber should be 2.0 for the front and 1.0 in the back.turn ASM off and put tcs to 5.raise the rear spring rate a lil higher then the front spring rate, try 12.5 for the front and 13.5 for the rear and let me now if it works,if not, post on my calsonic skyline and i'll make a setup for u k

Audiuser and 0-400mtoptuner16,

These setups are kind of old and i believe i was 13 when i made them, so please, don't be too tough of me Wink!

Sadly, i haven't played GT3 for a long, long time and it will probably stay this way. So about the setups... We can talk about them, but i won't change them anymore, that part is up to you!

And, it's nice of you trying to improve my setup, but to me, it's good enough the way it is now. Maybe we just have slightly different driving-styles. And also, i don't set my cars up just for fast lap times, i try to find a balance between comfort and being fast.

You're free to play around with this setup as much as you want to, so... It would be nice to come back and tell other people how the test drive went!

Happy driving,

Dave.
