This car is very quick (running the 400m in about 9.5 sec on average), and has very good handling. This setup was done with racing slicks on. It goes without saying, but softer tires will make it handle even better than mine did with the slicks on. I believe hp is around 950+, but I'm not for sure.

If anybody gets a chance to try out this setup on Laguna Seca, it'd be great if they could post their lap times, as well as what tires they used for it.

I haven't tried your set-up, but my RGT ran 1'13's at Laguna, 1'06's at Midfield, 1'08's at Deep Forest and 1'10's at Swiss Alps. For the road tracks I use Medium tires. HP is 1099.

Ok, thanks. This will help me decide if I need to make any adjustments to my RGT. I'll post what it runs at Laguna when I get a chance to check the time.

Laguna Seca Time

Well, I was able to run my RGT at Laguna Seca in 1.17.28, but on that note, I'm a terrible driver. nomeite, if you could test my setup and let me know what time you are able to get on Laguna Seca that would be much appreciated.

Laguna Laps
Updated 06/23/2003 3:53 PM Post a reply Quote this post View nomeite's info
OK, I ran your set-up with a couple of adjustments( brake set at 15/17, Final drive set to 2.9000, and ASC/TCS set at 2/2. Everything else was what your set-up is. I ran 1'15.425 at Laguna( I only ran a couple of laps), Apricot 1'14.192, and Midfield at 1'04.607, which are pretty respectable lap times. At Midfield, the rear end was a little tail-happy,meaning it wanted to slide out on the turns. I think increasing the rear spring rate would remedy this minor problem, but other-wise I liked your set-up. Just to be fair, it took quite a few laps at Laguna for me to run 1'13's with my set-up.
