Pretty good handling for a roadcar this powerfull. Very pleasent at low speeds, even better at high speeds. But, don't be to hard on the throttle at thight, low speed turns, not from the beginning till the end of it. You can be hard on the throttle at the beginning, but not much longer, cause that'll result in spinning. Happy Racing!

Darkvenom,

have you got a hot lap time for this car? Any track.
Laguna? Midfield?

Just want a comparison.

I can't remember any lap time i got with this car. I can get one though, if you like. Does Deep Forest Raceway sounds good? I'll probably race and post it today, if not, then tomorrow.

Hey Fumes, sorry it took so long. I didn't really had the time to play GT3. I did had some free time today, so i grabbed my chance Wink. I managed to get 1'10'144. I know it's not so fast, but this was the best i could get in 10 laps. I hope you'll post your times soon, for a comparison, just like you said. Well, anyway, good luck!

Dave,

I couldn't get my times below 1'10 at Deep Forest. Best I could do was 1'10:106 with this setup.

Try my setup, I did a 1'08:317 at deep forest with it.

I tried your setup and (maybe it's my driving style?)... i dislike it... badly. You have to be very, very soft on the throttle, so you won't spin. So, it also has bad traction. I managed to get 1'11'040, after i tried for about 10 laps. I decided to raise the TCS up to 5, and it was like the car was reborn, lot's and lot's of low speed spin was removed, better traction, way better handling etc. After 1 slobby lap, i managed to get 1'10'048. But, as i said before, i think it's just my driving style. I'm sure much other people like this one, but i don't. I really think you should do something about that low speed spin Fumes, it results in better handling and lap times...

Hi Dave,

On the contrary, the TCS is low for a reason. It does result in the car spinning eaiser, but it also means the car is faster (almost 2 secs faster in our case). TCS slows the car down, it reduces power to the wheels to stop spinning.

Soft on the throttle is the way to drive it. Your lap times will improve driving like this with this setup.

There is always a compromise with tuning cars. You either tune it for speed or for ease of handling (no oversteer), you can't have both. A car that is easy to handle is always slower. I tune cars for speed with as much handling as possible.

Fumes,

i know you can't have both speed and handling. But, your setup is only, pure for speed (that's how i experience it.). I tried to be gentle on the throttle, but the car just wouldn't get fast lap times. I don't know how you did it, but, you are one fantastic racer, if you got a 1'8'317 with this. My best lap was a 1'11'040. I quess i'm just a crappy driver,

Hehe, thanks, it was a very clean lap.
I do get 1:09 consistently. Just keep practicing the course.
