Heavy car, especially for a roadster . . . really hurts car. Made this setup to win Silver Arrow races, does so very easily. Comments on setup would be good, and also how the tires wear too would be nice, since all I used it for was for the Silver Arrow races.

Good job with this setup.

I do most of my setup testing on Leguna Seca, and on my first lap, I ran a low 1'24.xx time. And within 3 laps I ran high 1'22.xx and the car isnt even broken in yet.

I did notice that any slight direction changes at higher speeds tends to caues the car to wander more than usual, and requires compensation in steering. (not a big problem)

Also, I am a large fan of coming into corners really hot, and I found more understeer than I prefer, when braking late. I end up overshooting turn 1,2 and the "Cork Screw" on Leguna Seca most of the time. But that's just personal preference. I also prefer a slight oversteer in my setups. This setup, or maybe the car in general displays the slightest understeer. And again, that's just my personal preference.

All in all, I'd like to say, job well done. I'm very picky with my setups, and this one does a great service to this hot little ride.

As for tire wear, I haven't tried it on a course that requires it, yet. But when I do, I'll let you know.

Well done, Mojo

Great setup, i prefer the cl600 in the silver arrow, maybe it is because i like large and luxurious =) but does easily win, i pull off from 1:23-1:25's on laguna secaa, if you all could please check out my celica gt-four tune, it is my first and would like suggestions on tuning thanks !

This setup works Nicely if you put ASM at 1.

I'll comment on your setups if people would comment on mine. See...If you comment on mine I get e-mail...and then I try to comment on yours....I will try the GT four tonight

I think this car wanders because of it's weight. For being a roadster, it is just heavy. It does require alittle compensation on some of the higher, but I also think that is because of the weight. I find with my driving that it does not really understeer all that bad, but I haven't tried it on all that many tracks either. Thanks for the feedback on the car.

I'll try checking out that setup on the Celica if I get a chance. I just choose this car because it was lighter than the other two Benz's.

I've learned to drive without the ASM on and to me this works just fine, good job on setting this car up to your driving style though.

Nice to see some productive conversation on setups - I've seen a fair amount of whining and badmouthing so this is a nice change of pace.

I agree that this car is just a bit unwieldy at high speed due to it's sheer mass. Too bad it's not GT2 and you can't just slap on a Race Modification with downforce and all!

Yeah that would be nice with this car . . . it is just too heavy to really be a great car, still a pretty good car though. It's not a bad car to just mess around with.
