Your welcome and thanks, I have a little time behind the gt wheel. A sprained ankle huh? do you use a wheel?(wouldn't be easy to hit the pedals) I've been using my old driving force wheel with the brake and gas set on the paddles (shift w/ L1 R1) that way I don't need to mess with a race seat or pedals sliding all over the floor.

On to my ff this afternoon, this one will be more interesting.

You get a vote from me too for your suspension settings.

However, you can improve on the gearing.
I think that's where I have been beating your times.

WOW Thanks!!!

TO be honest I Did the gears for Her fully tuned and simply increased the Final to shorten them up. For When shes got Full Hp they are sweet, But a Gearing Specifically for lower power is what always works best, when you got lower hp. I should mess with them before I make my next attempt. Good Tip!!!

Damn. Maybe I should keep my lips sealed until after our races. No no noo......

Hey fumes I just rectified a problem I was having with my sig(or I would have stated it a long time ago), this is the first vote I've seen you cast, have you others? I know your op is in demand around here, just wondering. "hey fumes check out my skyline" as if you don't have a job or a life, I think it makes the site worth while when everyone gives an honest effort with others tunes(time permiting), ya think?

One more thing, I've noticed my mate gets a little irate when I'm racing or otherwise messing with the game, but she seems fine letting me spend time on the net(this site) posting whatever. Woman, go figure.

Of course I cast votes. But sometimes I don't post comments to follow the vote.
Yeah, I get a lot of "Hey Fumes check out my ride" requests. If it's nothing special, I don't vote, it if needs improvement, I say so. Only where time permits. Between testing other member's setups and requests for setups for X car, coming up with new setup of my own and work, etc there isn't much time.
I agree with having members cast votes, whenever they can. Especially when there are so many setups now. You need a system like the votes to have a starting point with which setup to try first.

I hear ya, about partners going irate. I suffer the same fate, sometimes.

Ah hagh, the phantom voter, thats cool, I've recieved some votes without a following coment and left some as well.

Edit: I try to test two sets whenever I post one, usually one from the new setups on the left and one from the top ten views in a month.(a car that strikes my fancy) thats just me.

rac3rx didn't want to answer my wheel question? lol. I'm starting to like my ff, interested in your op on the 2 bmw sets.

Rac3rX is not responding because he is just busy trying his hardest to beat our asses.
I've already posted my opinion about your setup. And my opinion about Rac3rX's setup is as above comments.

Oh!, thats funny fumes(I'm rolen), it is true as rac3rx just posted a vid I think? I can't watch it rac3rx as I've stated my computer is too slow. Times are enough for me and splits are cool to.

I'm off to run some ff laps.

Thanks guys, this is great.

Me Im a DS2 guy untill I can get a DFP, but My budget leans more twords parts for the car and the 200$ (Canadian) tag is pretty steep.

Ive dropped a vote or 2 Wink I normally keep my opinions to myself as things I may not like could be due to driver style and all that Jazz, Im going to give a few more a go over the weekend, as Fumes said Im Putting Miles on my Blue Dragon.

The Vid is Just a Tast, I love making vids so Ill probably do a bunch throughout the Battlers we do, I dont need Vids for proof, as The guys racing are straight up.

Also the Vid doesnt identify the car at all, I block its Name so Its Still unknown till the end of the Battle.

Rac3rX,

is there a way I can download the vid in media player format without having to go thru that web site?

I'm at work, and firewalls are blocking me from downloading any "recreational" content.

But if you can host it as a file somewhere, I can run it locally on my hard drive.

Hey rac3rx, a ds2 is good for me too, I use mine about 25% of the time. The dfp is really cool because the wheel turns like 1000 degrees.(o.k. thats exagurated). I like my old df wheel, it turns only around 200 deg and you can configure it to run sweet without pedals.(get a used one?)

Driving style does play a big roll in the game, I'm sure there are others out there with a similar style to you. I don't leave negitive feedback on anyones tuning, I vote for sets I like, or a tuners Ideas I like, even if the set isn't 100% to my liking, inovation is key. I think most members spend a good amount of time on there sets and should be recognized if possible.

The vids are cool, I've watched a few at my girls house, keep makin em.

Don't forget to check the 2 bmw's, I thought you might not have liked the sas in my last post but I think we're on the same page, cool.

Yeah Gimme a sec to upload it to save file then drop you the url to download it

900 degrees to be exact (I beleve its one and a half turns in either direction) I really do want one, but Motor mounts and 4 -1 headers are a little more important on my list Big Grin

Yeah I keep the same principles, I dont want to be Negative on anybody as Im sure they spent Time working on them. I dont mind if people get inspiration from my stuff either (I DONT like copy cats)

Motor mounts and 4 -1 headers

Whatcha building?, I have an 89 starion I've done extensive work on, got her up to 272 hp dyno'd, t3/t4 hybrid, additional injectors, hks exhaust. Bullet proofed with J&E, total seal, etc.
Top end with ss valves and duel springs. Still worken on suspension and brakes.

Sounds Mean, Got a Cardomain page or any Vids Smile

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2080215

Its a Daily Driver, with a Big Future ahead of her (Saving for a Short Block & 20PSI Turbo Kit & Forged Internals)
Im Saving for that while getting small goodies here and there (Of coarse the Headers will be only untill the T Kit comes in, but its Not expected for a year or 2 Internals First Then Turbo, then Short Block) & LSD ofcourse.

My Goal is 250whp @ 10psi for daily driving and 350whp for at the Drag Strip (Before the Nitrous Big Grin I plan to shoot between a 40 to 60 shot Evil , so 400 to 410 @ 20psi on the Bottle. Cool )

After the Headers, Im going for cams, adj cam gears, and a Port polish job. Then Lightened pulleys, Flywheel & Underdrive pulley & Weight reductions. Im going for a Vis CF hood and Trunk, But Im going to vinal it solid couleur matched (Less evident)

As far as suspention goes Im looking at a Tein Set, some upgraded sway bars and body clamps. & a few more goodies, the list goes on and on...

I race her at a local drag Strip, First year was Just 1/8 mile to see what she can do, THis year Im Hitting the 1/4 (After mounts, last year I distroyed a shifter dealing with wheel hop at launch)

Here is a Vid of me racing her If ever you can watch it.
http://media.putfile.com/Rac3rX-Drag-Racing-Protege-20L

In the Vid I eat a Civic SiR V-Tec, Focus ZX4, & My Fav a Mazda3 2.3L Sport Hatch.
